My Delhi’s win cements its reputation as a trailblazer in the North East dining scene, known for its authentic Indian street food, bold flavours, and commitment to innovation. Accepting the award, Director Elahi Amin dedicated the victory to the team:
"We dedicate this award to our incredible team, who work tirelessly to provide our guests with a dining experience like no other. The standards of guest experience were instilled in us by my late father, who taught us that hospitality is about welcoming guests as if they were dining in your own home. That philosophy remains the cornerstone of what we do, ensuring our service matches the unparalleled quality of food cooked by the best chefs from Delhi and across India."
The Asian Curry Awards are a celebration of excellence across fine dining, casual dining, and street food, recognising the best of Asian and Oriental cuisines. Winners are selected by a distinguished panel of judges from the Asian Catering Federation, with public votes playing a crucial role in determining the finalists.
Chairman of the Asian Catering Federation, Yawar Khan, commended the winners:
"The success of every business here tonight is a testament to the passion, determination, and culinary talent that drive this industry forward. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who invests in this vital sector, which contributes billions to the UK economy annually despite challenging conditions."
This achievement follows My Delhi’s national acclaim after winning BBC’s Britain’s Top Takeaway and further solidifies its commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and culinary innovation.
The Asian Curry Awards are organised by the Asian Catering Federation, representing the UK’s 35,000 Asian caterers, who collectively contribute over £60 billion annually to the economy. This year’s awards were sponsored by Cobra Beer, Kingfisher Beer, and Work Permit Cloud Ltd.
My Delhi's win underscores its mission to bring the vibrant, authentic flavours of Delhi’s streets to the UK, making it a region’s dining culture.
